Creating New Classrooms

Managing the set up of your classrooms for your team.

If you, as the School Manager, are managing the set up of all classrooms, you can do this easily from your School Management view. 

  • Navigate to your School Management view. 

  • Select Classrooms from the menu on the left. 

  • Click Create classroom

  • Complete the details listed:
    Classroom Name
    Classroom Type - note if you are only using one of the two platforms, the option you are not using will be greyed out and not available to be selected. Year Levels for your class
    The Lead Teacher

  • Selecting the Lead Teacher - the dropdown here will show you all available teachers who have been set up in Banqer. Select the teacher who will be leading this class. 

It’s important that the correct lead teacher is set to ensure that they receive relevant updates throughout their time using Banqer. 

Teachers will receive information guiding them through their use of Banqer, notifications around their wrap up date, and general support from the team. 

If you need to invite a new teacher at this stage, you can click on the Invite Teacher button. Please note that they will only be available to be selected as a Lead Teacher once they have accepted the invite. 

  • Click Create Classroom

Your chosen Lead Teacher will now automatically have access to this classroom.
